Rooted in Tradition
In China, a head massage isn’t a luxury. It’s maintenance.
Acupressure
We work the points Chinese practitioners have trusted for centuries: Baihui at the crown, Fengchi at the base of the skull and Taiyang at the temples.
Herbal Care
Warm steam with mugwort and ginger opens things up first. Then botanicals like ginseng and He Shou Wu go straight to the roots.
Deep Relaxation
Slow, rhythmic work on the head, neck and shoulders. Your phone stays in the locker and your nervous system finally gets a break.
Why Chinese head massage?
Traditional Chinese Medicine has a simple rule: where energy flows freely, there’s no pain. Stress, screens and long days block that flow, and your head, neck and shoulders feel it first. Our job is to get things moving again.

A Healthier Scalp

Baihui · The crown
Where all the yang meridians meet. Traditionally used to clear the mind and lift your mood.
Yintang · Between the brows
The “calm down” point. A little pressure here and your breathing slows almost instantly.
Taiyang · The temples
Our go-to for screen fatigue and tension headaches.
Shuaigu · Above the ear
A classic point for one-sided headaches and that heavy, foggy-head feeling.
Fengchi · Base of the skull
Where neck tension, and a lot of headaches, like to live. You will feel this one.

FAQ
Good questions, straight answers
What exactly is a Chinese head massage?
It’s a traditional treatment from Chinese medicine, called tóu liáo (literally “head therapy”). We combine acupressure on the head, neck and shoulders with herbal steam, gentle scalp exfoliation and an herbal wash. The goal is simple: release tension, calm your mind and keep your scalp healthy.
How is it different from a Japanese head spa?
Japanese head spas focus mostly on cleansing and the feel-good factor. Ours is built on meridian theory, so we work specific acupressure points like Baihui, Fengchi and Taiyang and use warming herbs like ginger and mugwort. It feels deeper and more therapeutic.
What happens on my first visit?
Come about 10 minutes early. We’ll take a quick look at your scalp, ask a few questions, then show you to a private room. You stay fully clothed on a heated bed. Afterward, there’s warm herbal tea waiting for you.
Will my hair be washed and dried?
Yes. Every ritual ends with an herbal wash, conditioner and a blow-dry, so you can go straight back to your day.
How often should I come in?
For stress and sleep, most people like a session every two to four weeks. For scalp concerns like oiliness, buildup or thinning, a short series of weekly or bi-weekly visits works best. We’ll give you an honest recommendation after your first session.
Is it right for everyone?
Most adults can enjoy it. If you’re pregnant, have high blood pressure, a recent head or neck injury, a scalp condition or a fresh chemical treatment, just tell us when you book. We’ll adjust your session or suggest you check with your doctor first.
Do you sell gift cards?
We do, for any ritual or dollar amount. Call us or ask at the front desk.
